Pack of Wild Dogs

One morning I decided it was a good day for a hike, so I got my things as I always do and prepared for the trip. When I got to my hiking spot I began my trek along a trail that went up the side of the mountain. About 10 - 15 minutes into the hike I came across a pack of wild dogs. I scared them off and keep on my hike. When I come to the end of the trail I am on, I notice a lot of scat and hair all over the place, then I noticed a freshly eaten carcass about 20 feet from where i was standing. Thinking that the dogs I saw could have done this and then thinking that it was a cougar that did this. I pressed on for another few hours only to feel that something was watching me the whole way. I made it back to the car, after that happened now i know why you are not supposed to go hiking by yourself
